Every tree limb overhead seems to sit and wait, while every step you take becomes a twist of fate.
Up on the watershed, standing at the fork in the road...

  3. Is the Orphan Summit this weekend?? If so, I hope it goes well for you. You are a great speaker and I enjoyed very much listening to the things you had to say and appreciated your wisdom and experience.

Your daughter is absolutely PRECIOUS!! She looks very happy and very well loved.

    Hope you are doing well!

    Blessings,
    Laura

  6. I just started following your blog this week, from a link on Missy's blog, and I'm so glad I did. Your daughter is one of the most beautiful creations I have ever seen!

We are #4 on the wait list for a beautiful babe from Ethiopia and have three bio daughters who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little brother/sister!

I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts, namely White Mama and The Controversial and Mundane. You hit the nail on the head! Thank you for being so open and honest and helping ME educate OUR friends and family!

J and I have been married for almost 15 years. We have shared many adventures and a lot of watershed moments. In 2009 I began blogging and in 2010 we adopted our daughter from Ethiopia. In March of 2012 we began the process to adopt a little boy from Haiti. This blog follows the many twists and turns on the road to our two children and beyond.
