(Standing on her own now and SO proud of it!)
(Peekaboo is her favorite silly game.)
(First time at the Denver Ethiopian adoptive families picnic. Last year we declined.)
(First fourth of July party.)
(One week home - already a lifetime ago. Quite possibly my favorite photo of all time.)
(She likes her ride.)
(Who doesn't love bathing in a pink plastic pool on a hot day?)
(Early days home. One of her first big smiles - she was swinging.)
We are in no way "there" yet. As I type she's squeaking and screaching from her crib in full fury that I should set a nap time schedule and expect her to relax instead of play with us 100% of the time. But we are getting there.

(Next post! I promise I'll write about her name.)
What a difference a month makes!! (And drugs and loving family time. ) She is so happy and beautiful, congrats.
ReplyDeleteLove that smile - she looks SO happy in all the pictures. She's beautiful! I am loving reading all your posts about your time in Ethiopia :)
ReplyDeleteAmanda, she is absolutely beautiful and I just can't get enough of the pictures of you and her together!! You are so sweet as a mama! Someday when life gets caught up (or not) I would so love to just chat with you. I want to hear that mommy-tone in your voice. :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cute with a headband! My kids always looked ridiculous and would rip them off, like they knew how weird they looked. lol So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the pool pic! Nice and simple and graphic :)
ReplyDeleteShe's really glowing. And so are you :)
Oh, my goodness...standing on her own...WOW! She is growing up so quickly. Thanks for all of the pics.
ReplyDeleteIt was on my to do list to find out what her name is and why you picked it. I can't wait for this post. She is lovely and wonderful.
